“Remembering Sudan” to Join the Docket of Educational Films at the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam
Vital Impacts is honored to share that Ami Vitale’s new documentary, “Remembering Sudan: The Last Male Northern White Rhino” is an official selection of the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam.
“Remembering Sudan'' will be screened as part of the education program of the festival, each film sharing and embodying WFFR’s goal - to “demonstrate the beauty of nature and raise awareness about the collective responsibility we have to maintain it.” The educational program is made specifically for young people - primary and secondary schoolers. Students will view “Remembering Sudan '' and a selection of other short nature films from November 1st to November 3rd, spreading environmental education across all ages.
The Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam has been highlighting meaningful and change-making films for nine years, gathering an annual audience of nearly 15,000 people. 50 projects are selected out of an estimated 400 yearly submissions from film-makers across the world, and 11 will be presented with awards.
Public screenings of “Remembering Sudan” and other powerful films will take place at the Cinerama Movie Theatre in downtown Rotterdam, Netherlands from October 30th to November 5th, 2023.
