Vital Impacts Reveals the 2024 Print Initiative in Support of Biodiversity and the Amazon Rainforest

Vital Impacts is excited to announce the 2024 Annual Print Initiative, a collection of fine-art prints by renowned photographers aimed at raising awareness and support for community-based conservation efforts. With the planet facing a critical biodiversity crisis, the need to protect our environment is more pressing than ever before.

We would love to work with you on a feature and can offer stunning images royalty free and interviews with many of the contributors. We would like to be considered in any gift guides that amplify the important work and also have a give back.

This collection features over 100 stunning prints from photographers such as Nick Brandt, Jim Naughten, Brian Skerry, Cristina Mittermeier, and Ami Vitale, among others. Not only do these prints showcase iconic images, but they also tell powerful stories and carry deep messages. These photographers have captured profound moments from around the world, creating images that are timeless and meaningful.

The initiative's primary focus is to raise funds for the preservation of the Amazon rainforest and its rich biodiversity. The Amazon is home to over 40,000 plant species, 1,300 bird species, and millions of insects, making it a vital part of the global ecosystem. By supporting indigenous communities through COICA, we can help ensure a more secure future for all life on Earth.

In addition, Vital Impacts is launching "Saving the Monarchs," a campaign highlighting the work of National Geographic photographer Jaime Rojo. With the Monarch Butterfly population declining by 90% in recent decades, efforts are underway to protect their habitats and ensure their survival.

Sixty percent of profits from all the sales will support indigenous communities through COICA and organizations dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Monarch Butterfly: Monarch Watch and FOCEN - Conservation Fund for the Neo volcanic Axis.   Forty percent of the proceeds support the storytellers who are committed to shining a light on these critical issues and driving positive change in our world.

The initiative will end on March 31, 2025.

We are also minimizing our environmental impact by offsetting our emissions, to become carbon neutral.
