Norbert Rosing. Polar Bear Mother with Cubs.
This polar bear mother left the den just hours ago with her twins. They were playing for a long time with each other. Polar bears leave their dens in February/March in the Churchill, Manitoba, Canada area.
Norbert Rosing has spend many decades in the pristine wilderness of the Arctic. Here he travelled to Greenland, Svalbard and of course Canada. Norbert published more then twenty books on natural history (the Arctic, Yellowstone, German National Parks, the US South West and black and white photography books. Nine of his images have been chosen by the German post office for being displayed on stamps.
Norbert has done many exhibitions shows worldwide. Right now a show is currently exhibited at the VHS building in central town of Stuttgart with 60 enlarged prints.
Norbert also worked for some years for NGM and GEO. Since one year he fell in love with the Antarctic wildlife and landscape.
In the US he is a longtime member of NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association)
