Vital Impacts Unveils Their Winter Collection

Vital Impacts is thrilled to announce our Winter Collection 2022-2023, a set of stunning fine art prints from more than 100 renowned photographers. The collection features a variety of art, from dreamy portraits to majestic wild-life to sprawling landscapes, with the common thread being our artists’ commitment to the environment and the conservation of the life that lives within it.

Artists featured in our Winter Collection are drawn from the covers of National Geographic and the world's most prestigious fine-art galleries. Just a few of the exceptional photographers are James Balog, Brian Skerry, Steve McCurry, Nick Brandt, Beth Moon, Britta Jaschinski, Frans Lanting, Charlie Hamilton James, Chris Burkard, Jimmy Chin, Tamara Dean, David Doubilet, Steve Winter, Jim Naughten, Xavi Bou, Aletheia Casey, Ami Vitale, and Jane Goodall herself.

Dr. Jane Goodall, the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, has contributed exclusive, hand signed prints that she took herself over sixty years ago in Gombe National Park with her beloved chimpanzees. She also has included an image that is traveling in outer space as part of Nasa's Golden Record on the Voyager spacecraft. The Voyager Golden Records are two phonograph records that were included aboard the Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977. The records are a time capsule, and these images included in the sale are also another kind of time capsule of the beauty and life on this planet.

The focus of Vital Impacts this year is to create opportunities and education for the next generation of environmental photographers and conservationists. Sixty percent of all profits of the Winter Collection sale will be donated to Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots program and to the Vital Impacts Environmental Photography mentorship and grant program, where two $20,000 Environmental Photography Grants will be awarded as well as a mentorship program for fifty aspiring environmental photographers.

Vital Impacts is minimizing environmental impact by offsetting emissions. The printing, shipping, ordering system and web platform for the sale are all carbon neutral. Explore the works and make a change at vitalimpacts.org.
