Jennifer Wu. Tufa and Star Tails.

I walked along the shore edge of the lake with the surreal tufa surrounding me. I found a spot to photograph a tufa with Mono Lake in the background. I then set up to photograph the star trails that we see as circling around the Northstar. After four hours of waiting, the photograph was done. I was so happy with how it turned out!

Jennifer Wu is a leading nature and landscape photographer, educator and author, specializing in photographing the night sky. With a BA in Photography, Jennifer has spent over 30 years photographing. She was named by Canon USA for the Explorer Of Light program for 15 years. Her images have been published in numerous magazines and books. She is the co-author and photographer of the book, Photography Night Sky: A Field Guide to Shooting After Dark (2014, Mountaineers Books). Jennifer enjoys sharing her passion and techniques for night and nature photography through seminars and workshops in location such as Yosemite, Hawaii, Iceland and Alaska.
