Marion Payr. Flora & Fauna.
After six hours of trekking through the dense, prehistoric canopy of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the forest floor opened up to reveal this scene: two infant gorillas, side by side, their small hands anchored to a shared branch as they leaned over a mountain stream to drink from it. It was a quiet, fleeting moment of harmony and peace. A tender moment showing the intricate balance of flora and fauna, working together since the beginning of time. This image is a testament to the success of community-led conservation. Through dedicated ecotourism, Bwindi’s gorilla populations are once again on the rise. By bringing this print into your home, you are directly supporting habitat preservation and conservation, so we can continue witnessing scenes like this for generations to come.
