Saving the Monarchs

In support of Monarch Watch and FOCEN

With Photographs by Jaime Rojo

For A Limited Time Only

Few insects have captured our imagination like the Monarch Butterflies. Their migration is one of the most iconic wildlife spectacles in North America, but their population has declined by 90% in the last four decades.

From farmers to indigenous communities, from scientists to volunteer citizens, hundreds of people across North America are working to reverse this alarming trend and create a new future for Monarchs. Purchases of these fine-art photographs will support this critical work.

Non-Profit Beneficiaries

Sixty percent of profits from the sale of these fine art photographic prints will support the following organizations dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Monarch Butterfly.

Monarch Watch

Monarch Watch is a nonprofit organization at the University of Kansas dedicated to the conservation of Monarch Butterflies and their habitats. Monarch Watch plays a vital role in restoring and protecting the breeding habitats of these remarkable butterflies through research, educational programs, habitat restoration, and the distribution of milkweed plants.

With your support through this fundraising sale, you are helping to protect these incredible butterflies and contribute to a brighter future for our environment.

FOCEN

The Conservation Fund for the Neovolcanic Axis (FOCEN) support the conservation of Monarch Butterflies in Mexico by facilitating the involvement of forest owners and local communites, and by supporting the management of several protected areas in central Mexico which that are crucial for the conservation of the Monarch butterfly migration, hibernation processes, and the provision of environmental services.

By participating in this sale, your contributions will directly support the Cimas y Cañadas project (Summits and Ravines) in Mexico, that involves local communities in the protection and restoration of the native oyamel fir forests in central Mexico which provide optimal hibernation habitat for the Monarch Butterfly.
