Robert Haasmann. Lots Going On in the Air.
Thousands of guillemots return to the breeding cliffs of a bird colony in the far northeast of Norway at the end of winter. To protect themselves from predators, they often fly in large flocks, circling overhead.
Robert Haasmann is a professional nature photographer and filmmaker based in Salzburg, Austria. His work has received numerous international and national awards, capturing the beauty of unspoiled nature and wilderness around the world. While he travels widely, Robert has a particular passion for Scandinavia, spending extensive time photographing remote areas across the Nordic region. He is also an expert in photographing brown bears, especially through his long-term project on European brown bears, "Life on the Edge," which documents their daily lives and their complex relationship with humans in Central Europe.
