A white water lily flower in bloom reflected by North America’s largest blackwater swamp along the edge of Chase Prairie inside the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. This 438,000 acre pristine wilderness, one of the largest intact freshwater ecosystems in the world, is currently threatened by the extractive mining industry.
