“Remembering Sudan” to be Featured This October at the La Femme International Film Festival

We are honored to share that Ami Vitale’s new documentary, “Remembering Sudan: The Last Male Northern White Rhino” is an official selection of the La Femme International Film Festival scheduled for this October.

Nearly six months ago, Vitale launched “Remembering Sudan.” The film has been screened at festivals across the globe, including New Zealand, Italy, Paris and now Los Angeles, California. Vital Impacts is thrilled to see Vitale’s message of conservation and hope thrive.

The La Femme International Film Festival has uplifted and supported female creators for nineteen years. The festival coins the phrase, “by women, for everyone,” a mission set on nurturing and celebrating films produced, written, and directed by women and showcasing their work on the world’s stage. Filmmakers featured are included in various in-person networking events, seminars, and special screenings to “encourage mentorship and artistic sharing” between one another.

The La Femme International Film Festival will take place at Regal Cinemas, 1000 W Olympic Blvd in Los Angeles, California from October 19th through October 22nd, 2023. The festival will have an opening party and awards show in-person, and virtual events and screenings for those who cannot make the trip.
