This March, Vital Impacts will feature at the PhotoVogue Festival with "The Nature of Hope," a powerful exhibition showcasing over 100 photographs from world-renowned wildlife and nature photographers, including Nick Brandt, Ami Vitale, Jim Naughten, Brian Skerry, Cristina Mittermeier, and more. Part of the festival’s "The Tree of Change" series, this exhibition is both a testament to our planet’s beauty and a call to protect its fragile ecosystems.
In the past fifty years, humanity has destroyed 73 percent of the world’s wildlife, a stark reality highlighting the urgent biodiversity crisis we face. At Vital Impacts, we believe in harnessing the power of art and storytelling to support community-based conservation efforts and elevating visual journalists who are dedicated to sharing impactful environmental narratives, and “The Nature of Hope” invites festival attendees to be part of this movement. Together, we can create the future we want to see, today and for the generations to come.
Returning for its eighth edition from March 6–9, 2025, the PhotoVogue Festival at BASE Milano will feature exhibitions, discussions, and digital showcases exploring the relationship between humanity and nature. Complemented by satellite events in some of Milan’s finest galleries, this year’s festival promises to be an inspiring space for reflection and action.
