PhotoVogue Spotlights the 2026 Vital Impacts Fellows and Mentees
We are so grateful to PhotoVogue for highlighting our fellowships and mentorships program and this year’s recipients. Thank you to author Caterina De Biasio, and to Alessia Glaviano, Head of Global PhotoVogue and Director of the PhotoVogue Festival, as well as a member of our judging panel, for their thoughtful coverage.
For the third year in a row, Vital Impacts awarded seven environmental photography fellowships totaling $50,000, along with eleven mentorships, to photographers narrating the complex relationship between humanity and the planet. This year’s recipients were selected from 526 submissions across 86 countries, reflecting the global reach and urgency of environmental storytelling today.
“Each of these artists moves between rigorous documentary photography and artistic exploration, always with a deep ethic of care,” said Glaviano.
We’re honored to see the work of these photographers recognized and shared with a wider audience. To learn more about the recipients and their powerful projects, read the full article at photovogue.com.
