The Vital Impacts 2024 Environmental Photography Grants and Mentorships are now open for applications! These grants aim to champion the power of visual storytelling in driving positive change for our planet. Through our grants, we support documentary projects that spotlight solution-based environmental narratives. By highlighting innovative solutions and raising awareness about environmental issues, these projects can inspire change and drive action towards a more sustainable future.

Grants and Opportunities

We’re offering one grant totaling $20,000 and six grants worth $5,000 each, all dedicated to supporting documentary projects that focus on environmental solutions. Recipients will have the opportunity to work on their projects over the span of twelve months, bringing these impactful stories to life.

Mentorship Program

In addition to the grants, Vital Impacts will select ten emerging photographers to participate in an intensive mentorship program. This program aims to provide guidance and support to budding photographers, helping them develop their skills and refine their projects. Furthermore, all applicants will be invited to participate in an online mentorship series, providing valuable insights and learning opportunities for everyone involved.
