Photographer and videographer Steven Gnam explores our conversation with the wild. His work illuminates subjects such as wolverines, grizzly bears, ocean plastics, and how humans relate to wild nature. In order to immerse himself in the diverse subjects of his stories, Steven relies on wide-ranging skills from camera trapping, freediving, ultrarunning, climbing, and backcountry skiing. His stories can require months or years of preparation and field work, collaborating with researchers and scientist to share scientific information through his visuals.
