Florian Ledoux. Greenland Ammassalik.
It was only my second expedition to Greenland, hiking with a tent during the summer month when I met Julius, a wonderful local of Ammassalik that took me out at sea in the evening. Thanks to his talented skills to drive full speed through the brash ice, we arrived near this castle of ice. He shut down the engine and goes: "This is why I live here, I love it".
As a self-taught photographer, Florian Ledoux developed his passion until it became strong enough to become a photo reporter in the french military navy. Florian’s work is inspiring and motivating and presents an intimacy that showcases a deep relationship with the Polar regions. Each of his photographs tells a story of the fragility of life on this planet.
